WHAT’S NEW AT C & R ASPHALT, LLC.
In 2003, C & R Asphalt, LLC purchased 13.1 acres off of Old Frankfort Pike which is used for our new offices; shop and maintenance facility; recycling facility for rock / concrete / asphalt; and for other opportunities. This will centralize our Asphalt, Recycling, Paving, Excavation and Sealcoating Divisions at one location.
In 2005 we completed our new maintenance complex adjacent to our corporate offices. This houses our mechanics shop; sealcoat storage tanks; equipment storage; wash bays; employee meeting room and parts storage.
Some of the equipment purchased in 2005 includes: 2-Lee Boy 8500 pavers; 2-vibratory rollers; 2-Bobcats; 4-tri/axle dump trucks; excavator; track mounted recycling crusher.
