This policy explains what information C&R Asphalt, LLC ("C&R Asphalt", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, asphaltanimals.com, and the ways you contact us by phone, email, text message and our website forms.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you ask for an estimate or contact us, we collect what you send: your name, company name, email address, phone number, the job location and your message. When you apply for a job through our website, we collect the information on the application, such as your contact details, work history and your answers to the application questions. When we do work for you, we keep the records needed to do the job and bill for it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic visit information, such as the pages you view, the type of device and browser you use, your general location based on your internet address, and how you reached the site. We use Google tools (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to measure website visits and how our advertising performs. These tools use cookies.
Text messages. If you text us, we receive your mobile number, your message and any pictures you send. For C&R Asphalt Receipts, this includes receipt photos and expense details, PO requests, vendors, job information, items, estimated costs, office approvals, PO numbers and request status. We also keep the notice and consent record, message dates, and your opt-out or restart choices.
How we use information
We use information to:
- answer your questions and prepare estimates;
- schedule, do and bill for our work;
- review job applications;
- keep our business records, including accounting, employee expenses and office-approved purchase orders;
- confirm receipt intake, ask for missing receipts or details, and handle PO requests and status updates;
- measure and improve our website and advertising;
- meet legal, tax and safety requirements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that provide services to us, such as website hosting, email, phone and text service, scheduling, accounting and advertising measurement, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
Text messages
Our employee program, C&R Asphalt Receipts, handles receipts, receipt reminders and office-approved POs. The office gives participants a written notice. After reading the notice and Terms & Conditions (asphaltanimals.com/text-terms/), a participant joins by texting their first receipt photo or PO request to the program number. We retain the consent method and date. A message about an unrelated question does not enroll someone in ongoing receipt or PO messages.
Message frequency varies with purchases, receipts and PO requests. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process information only to supply services to us, such as delivering messages and maintaining our records.
You can stop program messages at any time by replying STOP. We send one opt-out confirmation, then stop program texts until you choose to restart by texting START. Reply HELP for help. Employees can submit receipts and PO requests to the office instead.
Cookies and your choices
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to tell you when one is set. The website will still work. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, contact us using the details below. We will keep the records that the law and our business records require.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and as tax, legal and business record rules require. We use reasonable measures to protect it. No website or electronic system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
